In order to successfully complete the EPM connection to BPC PRD, a user account must first be created in the BPC system. Please note that the user creation process is handled by Oscar Gonzalez.
Kindly ensure the BPC user has been provisioned before we proceed with the connection setup.
To create the connection you need to follow the below steps:
1 - Click on EPM
2 - Click on Log On
3 - Click on the button specified
Then follow the below steps to create your connection to the PLAN model in PRD:
1 - Click on create
2 - Add the same parameters
3 - Click Ok
Finally to access you need to input you SAP PRD credentials.
If you want to have access to QAS you have to replicate the same process, but changing the PRD parameters by the below ones, and then connect with your SAP QAS credentials:
Note: To access the EPM tab within Excel, you will need to install the SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office tool. This add-in integrates with Excel and enables full EPM functionality, including access to BPC reports and planning templates
